Your Public Library

Did you know that your public library doesn't just offer reading materials? 

Your public library offers so much more!   They offer a number of programs and events each month to engage everyone in the family from babies to grandparents!

Such programs as crafternoons, bullet journaling, learning how to use a computer for beginners, themed parties and play, story time and often they invite guests to share and showcase their talents.

Here is a sampling of what is happening this Saturday, October 27th at your library.  Beginning at 11:00 am you are invited to wear your costume and meet with staff in the National Parks area (in the kid section) where members of Pendleton Altrusa will be hosting an event!  You will hear a Halloween story,  have opportunity to create a craft and Altrusa will send you home with a free book!  This event will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

And if you are interested in entering the Pumpkin Decorating Contest, you have until October 29th to bring in your decorated pumpkin.  Your pumpkin must represent a book title or character.  You may decorate your pumpkin using markers, glue, glitter, paper, paint ~ get creative, but don't carve it!

Deadline for entry is October 29th, 7:45 pm
