Over 100,000 people visit the library annually taking advantage of a collection of materials that tops 60,000 items, both in print and electronic.
The Pendleton Library has its roots in the original Umatilla County Library, signed into being on January 6, 1914. The library values its heritage as a grassroots community effort and welcomes new voices to the planning and development of its services.
Our Pendleton Public Library strives to be the center of community involvement. An educated, informed, and involved citizenry creates a vibrant, livable community. The library stocks books, audios, and videos for check out and hosts fun and informative programs for all ages. The website provides 24/7 access to a wide range of databases as well as access to the patron's account.
Providing excellent service to those who visit in person or online is a goal of the Library.
The Pendleton Public Library is open six days a week with access to books, movies, public internet service, music, news media and more. Hours are Monday through Thursday 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Friday & Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
