The City of Pendleton is accepting applications for a full-time Utility Worker position in the Parks & Cemetery Department. This is a year-round position responsible for serving the citizens of Pendleton through a wide array of tasks related to constructing and maintaining excellent parks, outdoor recreation facilities and Playgrounds.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have a can-do attitude. Requires experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, pruning, and small equipment operation as well as the ability to perform physically demanding tasks daily, work in all weather conditions, and be exposed to dust, pollen, grasses and chemicals. The position will also require work in the Cemetery including digging graves and performing burials. Mechanical experience preferred. Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass criminal background check. Salary range is $3,312 - $4,458 a month. Applications are available at www.pendleton.or.us/employment.
