Pendleton, Ore. — Bureau of Reclamation plans to increase flows out of McKay Creek Reservoir to 2,500 cfs tomorrow morning at 8 AM. Residents should use sandbags to protect their property. City personnel and volunteers will be filling sandbags that can be obtained at McKay School and in Community Park on the north end of SW 41st at the tennis courts into the evening.
All non-residents are asked to stay out of the area leaving the streets open for neighbors and emergency personnel.
These swift water conditions can become extremely dangerous. For your safety, do not get close to the water.
