February 8 morning update.
River levels are down to 12.8 ft., and most areas are no longer underwater. Roads have been cleared by the City. Soils remain heavily saturated with water. Residents are advised to keep their vehicles on the roadway to avoid getting stuck.
Be alert for electrical wires and odor from natural gas and call 911 if any of these are observed. Keep away from the river's edge.
The City will provide instructions to property owners on how they can dispose of their damaged goods Sunday or Monday.
Other residents, please stay away from this area to avoid congestion.
