Street Lights, Trees, & Sidewalks
The Tree and Shrub Code Violation Form is to inform the City of any tree or shrub that impedes the roads right-of-way or may be covering a road traffic sign or signal. If you would like to report a violation, you may do so by filing a report form on the City’s website or by picking up a form in the Building Department at City Hall. Ordinance No. 3366 provides more information for the installation, maintenance and removal of street trees within the City. See Exhibit B for the required tree clearances over public ways. Exhibit C describes the clear-vision area requirements in intersections without stop signs or stop lights and intersections with stop signs or stop lights.
Similarly, if you would like to report a street light outage, you may do so by filing a report here on the City’s website, or at the Building Department at City Hall.
The Sidewalk Repairs Form is to inform the City of dangers from a damaged sidewalk. This may include large holes (tripping hazards), cement softening and erosion. If you would like to report a repair that is needed, you may do so by contacting the City’s Engineering Department at 541-966-0203.
