About the Pendleton Police Department

The Pendleton Police Department is one of only twenty-seven law enforcement agencies in Oregon that has achieved accredited status through the Oregon Accreditation Alliance. Only fifteen percent of the law enforcement agencies in Oregon have endured the rigors of becoming accredited, which is an accomplishment that the agency and community share.

The members of the Pendleton Police Department are proud to serve our community in a manner that promotes the quality of life, economic growth and economic development of the City of Pendleton. Pendleton Police personnel strive to protect persons and property, enforce laws, suppress crime and honor the constitutional rights of others on a daily basis. Through an ongoing process of self-assessment the department has identified and sustains the following services: preventative patrol, investigations, S.W.A.T., canine, school resource/D.A.R.E., community services outreach, Drug Recognition Evaluation, lab-site safety and code enforcement in an attempt to meet and/or exceed the needs/expectations of the community.
