Payment Options

The City of Pendleton offers several different payment options for water and sewer customers.

In-house Auto Pay

This is a free automatic payment service where your regularly scheduled utility bill is automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. Auto Pay will be setup on your account one to six weeks after we receive your completed application and voided check. Once you’re signed up, you will receive a monthly statement from the City of Pendleton that will tell you the amount of your utility bill. The statement will look the same as your monthly bill but will say "AUTO PAY" in the box that says “TOTAL AMOUNT DUE” (see Autopay Statement Example). Auto pays are deducted on the 10th of every month.

All it takes is three easy steps:

  • Fill out the application form. Forms are available at the Finance Department in City Hall and online in pdf format.
  • Write “VOID” across on of your blank checks.
  • Mail or bring in your application with voided check to the Finance Department in City Hall.

Note: If funds are not available at the time of the withdrawal, it will be treated as an NSF and a $25 fee will be added to your account.
