The Steering Committee to Rebuild Pioneer Park Playground is excited to announce that the $5,000 community challenge issued by the Pendleton Foundation Trust has been met through the benefit concert on November 24!

The Pioneer Playground Rebuild Project received more good news recently. The Steering Committee is pleased to announce a new challenge grant. Andrew Picken and Kathryn Brown have pledged $2,500 contingent upon the Committee raising a like amount before February 1st.

Since it is year end, this is the perfect time to contribute to your community with a tax-deductible donation AND double this pledge to the playground. Even better, make a donation and then challenge someone else to match yours!

Added with other private donations received, approximately $3,800 was raised through a benefit concert Saturday, Nov. 24 at Hamley Slickfork Saloon. The Steering Committee and AAUW are grateful to the community for their generous support in this rebuild project. Updates about future events and project timelines for reconstructing the playground will be forthcoming.
