Pendleton Welcomes Sister-City Students

The City of Pendleton would like to extend a hearty welcome to the exchange students in town this week from Pendleton’s sister city of Minamisoma, Japan. The students were welcomed enthusiastically in Portland on Wednesday, and the City will host a welcome party for them in the Vert Clubroom at 5 p.m. on Aug. 7. The public is encouraged to attend. Exchange students will then go home with host families for the duration of their stay.
