Volunteer Opportunities

Release Date:
10/02/2018

Volunteers in 2017 donated 3,830 hours of their time in 4 departments – Library, Parks & Recreation, Police and City Hall.  IN those departments, Volunteers held 32 different positions.  The City of Pendleton Volunteer Program for 2017 is available here.

If you are interested in participating as a volunteer with the City of Pendleton, you may fill out this easy application here and also the required criminal background checks here.

Application forms are available in the Pendleton Public Library and in the Administrative Office at City Hall.  Turn in the completed application and criminal background check to the Administrative office or return by mail.

After your background check has cleared, you will be contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator regarding an orientation date.  Orientation is a short meeting to go over the Volunteer Handbook and get any questions you may have answered.

The City of Pendleton is grateful for our wonderful Volunteer Coordinator, Tiffany Hegarty and to the many Volunteers who serve the City of Pendleton.
