National Night Out

August 1st, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., residents throughout the city of Pendleton are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police.  The Pendleton Police Department in conjunction with Pendleton Parks and Recreation, Wal-Mart, Franz Bakery, Hill Meat, and other local sponsors will be hosting an evening of FREE special events at the Pendleton Aquatic Center.  The festivities include free entry into the pool, hot dogs, and snow cones.      

National Project Coordinator Matt Peskin said, “This is a night for America to stand together to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity.  National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in our fight to build a safer nation.  We invite neighborhoods nationwide to join us in Giving Crime & Drugs A Going Away Party.”
